Perhaps, you intend to take it easy and just chill with your horror flicks tonight. But for those of us who are hoping to take a break from being ourselves, the clock is ticking for us to assume a new persona!
So when all else fails, where should we commoners turn to for answers? To the stars, my friends. To the stars! Going by the mad rush of celebrity Halloween photos, it is clear that magazine publishers must sense our indecisiveness or lack of imagination when it comes to Halloween costumes.
So once again, we here at SAFRA have pulled out our crystal ball and picked out what are the hits and misses from this year’s star studded Halloween!

Fergie and Josh Duhamel
Fergie unleashing her dark side this Halloween!

After the split between Seal and Heidi Klum, it seems that the couple Halloween costume void has been adequately filled by musician/actress Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel. In a nod to her Mexican great-grandmother, Fergie brings the gothic Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) vibes to the Halloween festivities.
Kelly Osbourne; the timeless fashionista

Daughter of Black Sabbath’s frontman Ozzy Osbourne, the young fashion designer opt to go with classic chic as Mad Men femme fatale Joan Holloway. Complete with fiery red hair, Kelly brings back everything good that the sixties‘ had to offer in this black lace number.

Ok so you got us, we are a big fan of the eighties. Especially so when it comes to cult comedy hits like Twins! With the sequel Triplets on the way, Nicole Richie and friend decided to pay homage to the Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger flick. Good on you Nicole, and don’t ever forget the third rule in a crisis situation ;)

If you have been following us, you will know that we are no fans of Paris. Having said that, we think that she might have backed a Halloween winner with her costume. Donning a Miley Cyrus inspired teddy outfit, Paris looks all set to have a “Wrecking Ball” of a time!
Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris
It’s a blurred line between these two photos
Photos sourced from dailymail.co.uk
Another one on the Miley Cyrus costume wagon, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and his wife Crystal Harris stayed current by drawing on the Robin Thicke and Miley’s Blurred Lines MTV VMA performance. Wisely opting for a beige bodysuit, Crystal’s interpretation is surprisingly conservative for an ex-Playmate of the Month.
Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber
Will the real Guns N’ Roses please stand up?
Photos sourced from softpedia.com and hellomagazine.com
The retro eighties’ fever continues with supermodels Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber dressing up as Guns N’ Roses duo Slash and Axl Rose. While we tip our hat off to Cindy for her eye for details (we totally dig those fake tattoo sleeves)! But, the days of sporting long curly black locks while walking out of hilltop church and plunging straight into a face-melting guitar solo are truly over.
Miley Cyrus; now available in all shape and sizes

While many celebrities are hopping on the Miley train, American comedian Joan Rivers proves that not everyone can pull it off. Despite the long ghoulish tongue, it is actually the fat suit that leaves us speechless.
Oops, you did it again?

Dammmn girl, don’t you realise that Britney is so last decade?
Harley Vierra Newton
A flame-worthy outfit

While we appreciate the DJ’s photo caption, “Happy Halloweenie”, we thought this was probably the most unimaginative costume anyone can think of.
Sarah Hyland and Matt Prokop
A tale as old as time, now lays ruined...
Photos sourced from iheartthetalkies.com and elle.com
Thanks Sarah and Matt for ruining another one of our childhood memories. Now thanks to the Modern Family actress, we have another reason to shudder at the Celine Dion’s song Beauty and the Beast!
From all of us at SAFRA, we wish you a spooky Halloween!
