Issac Tan (Judge for Qualifiers)

Issac Tan

Member of SAFRA Youth Network Committee

Issac has over 6 years of experience in the banking industry across consumer, corporate and investment banking. He currently works in an Australian Real Estate Financing firm handling both business development and operations within the company. Outside of work, he leisurely engages in sports such as soccer, basketball and badminton. He is also an avid motor sport enthusiast as well as a soccer fan. Occasionally, he enjoys watching talent variety shows such as “China’s got Talent” and “I am a Singer”.


Zhao Dexin (Judge for Qualifiers and Grand Finals)

Dexin has strong interest in entrepreneurship and networking. Since university, he spearheaded various entrepreneurship clubs, and founded start-ups in the fields of Social Entrepreneurship and Green Technology. Currently, he is the Business Development Lead at a listed Lifts and Escalators engineering company, helping government and private sectors in Lifts consultancy and troubleshooting. On his off days, he trains for the annual SAFRA Bay Run, while listening to the latest pop songs on the run.


Olivia Yang Hai Yan (Judge for Qualifiers and Grand Finals)


Artistic Manager, Music and Drama Company (MDC)

Olivia Yang, has 39 years of live stage engagement experience. Currently, she resides as the Artistic Manager of MDC.

Starting as a dancer in MDC, she has gone to work in other capacities in both front and backstage. She has also worked as a Production Manager for various local productions such as December Rain in 1998.

Through her career, she has worked with various well known performers such as Jack Neo, JJ Lin and Nathan Hartono as well as collaborated with choreographers like Jeffery Tan and Ryan Tan.

Day to day, she manages young performers for countless shows a year, and has been involved in major projects in capacities such as the show committee in the National Day Parade 2016, 2017, & 2018 as well as the management committee of NS50 @ Chingay.


Clement Chow (Judge for Qualifiers and Grand Finals)

Clement Chow

Clement has emceed, sung/written and produced countless of songs, musicals, music festival events and concerts for government ministries, corporate company events, schools, and shopping centers both locally and overseas. Born into a musical family, Clement started singing as early as six and his biggest break came in the form of “Count on me Singapore”, the first National sing-a-long song. He was the 1st Singaporean to ever sing a national song, solo.


Ryan Tan (Judge for Grand Finals)

Ryan Tan

Ryan has been active in local dance industry for 20 years, and is a highly respected and sought-after Producer, Director and Choreographer. Last year, he also sat on the panel of Resident Judge on the Mediacorp reality dance program – The Dance Floor.

He has been engaged to direct and choreograph for government commissioned events such as the Chingay Parade (2017) and National Day Parade (2016, 2011, 2010), 28th & 27th S.E.A. Games Opening Ceremony (2015, 2013), National Arts Council’s inaugural Singapore Dance Day (2015) and Merlion’s 40th Anniversary Celebration (2012). He has also been invited for 3 consecutive years to choreograph for the prestigious ‘So You Think You Can Dance – Vietnam’ (2013,2014, 2015).
