Rules and Regulations


1. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entries for whatsoever reason.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the SAFRA Sprint Kids Xtreme 2019 without any prior notification, in which case, the registration fees are non-refundable.
3. Completion of the entry form indicates the participant’s and their Parent’s/Guardian’s agreement to abide by the relevant Rules & Regulations of SAFRA Sprint Kids Xtreme 2019.
4. No exchanges of T-shirt sizes will be allowed.
5. The Organiser reserves the right to add and amend the rules and regulations without prior notification.
6. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the race course without prior notice to participants.
7. By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, in order to gain access to any product(s) or service(s) and/or participate in any program(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any activities involving SAFRA Jurong (“The Organiser”), the individual is deemed to have given written permission for The Organiser to collect, analyse, collate, share, disclose to third parties, sell and/or otherwise use without any liability to the individual any personal information relating to that individual as The Organiser may in its sole discretion deem fit, including without any limitation for its programs, planning, data-processing, statistical or risk-analysis, research, fund-raising and/or any other purposes in furtherance of the functions or powers of The Organiser.
8. By participating in the SAFRA Sprint Kids Xtreme 2019, participants grant the Organiser, and its affiliated companies his/her consent, and the right to use, and to grant others the right to use participant's name, likeness, biographical information, photographs, voice and other personal identification, as well as any video recordings or other audio or visual portrayals of participants in any and all manner and media, for marketing and promotion activities, and fund-raising purposes by the Organiser, and/or in collaboration with relevant third parties.
9. In the event of any dispute, the Organiser’s decision is final.


1. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete details given by participants.
2. Entry will only be confirmed upon successful payment. Registration form without official payment being received is deemed invalid.
3. Each individual is allowed one participation per category.
4. Race category or race entry is not transferable.
5. Once the registration form has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for those participants who eventually do not take part for whatever reason.
6. All participants need to bring along their race confirmation slip for collection of Sprint Packs and registration of race.
7. Participants shall be entered by their Parents / Guardians who will fill up the relevant indemnity and declaration forms as deemed necessary by The Organiser upon registration or in-person registration, failing which, The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any participants.


1. Sprinter(s) are to report at their respective venues and time slots as selected during registration.
2. Sprinter(s) will need to produce their birth certificate or Student card for verification purposes if requested by the officials. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation for sprinter(s) who fail to produce proper identification.
3. Sprinter(s) will need to queue up for their turns in the warm-up zone. Sprinter(s) who leave the queue is to re-queue again as reservation of turns are not allowed.
4. Sprinter(s) will be required to do their own proper warming up or stretching exercise at the warm-up area before their turn to compete.
5. Sprinter(s) will be allocated to their respective lane by the official onsite. Sprinter(s) are not to change lanes for any reason unless the Sprint official onsite authorizes them to do so.
6. Sprinter(s) are to start running once the race official gives them a pat on shoulder as a signal. If a sprinter starts running before the signal given, a false start will be given. A sprinter who has three false starts will be automatically disqualified from the sprint and no refund will be given.
7. No form of any wheel-run objects of transports e.g. inline skates, prams or shoes with built-in or attached rollers is allowed on the sprint track at all times. Sprinter(s) will be disqualified instantly.
8. Both legs of the sprinter(s) will have to cross the finishing line before their timing is captured.
9. Sprint Kids Xtreme 2019 Official’s timing is final. The Organiser reserves the right to the final say on the timing.
10. All participants will be informed via email on the race details nearer to date.


1. All participants are to register themselves with a valid identification document which includes Identification Cards, Passports or Student Passes.
2. All participants are to wear proper running shoes with the official Sprint Kids Xtreme 2019 Race T-shirt. Sandals, slippers, open-toed shoes and other forms of footwear are not allowed on the race course at all times.
3. Participants are to observe discipline at all times and follow the instructions of Race Officials and Marshals.
4. Participants would need to wait for the signal from the official to start the race. If a participant were to start before the signal is given, it would be considered as a false start. The participant will be automatically disqualified if they incur a 4th false start.
5. Any protest during the course of the competition has to be filed with a proper protest form and a deposit of $100. Should the protest be deemed valid after an official investigation, the deposit will be refunded.
6. Protests can only be filed during the time the competition for that particular category is in place. Protests after the allocated time will not be accepted.
7. The Organiser reserves the right to shorten, modify, swap the obstacles, postpone or cancel the event due to conditions such as but not limited to:
a. Inclement Weather;
b. Force Majeure;
c. Haze and
d. Other conditions that may interfere with the conduct of the race.
8. The Organiser and its appointed officials reserve the right to deny participation terminate such registration for any reason whatsoever.
9. There will be strictly NO refunds of registration fees.
10. The decision of The Organisers and its appointed officials are final.


1. Participants are to attempt ALL obstacles. Failure to attempt the obstacle(s) may result in the participant being disqualified from the competition.
2. Each participant is given 1 try to complete the obstacle(s) based on the specific rules governing the completion of the obstacle(s) stated below. Failure to complete the obstacle after 3 tries will result in the participant given a time penalty of 30 seconds per failure.
3. Assistance from parents is not allowed (except in Parent and Child Category). Unauthorized assistance will result in a disqualification of the participant.
4. Officials reserve the right to assist participants in times of need. However discretion will be used and assistance will be given only in absolute need. Depending on the situation, a time penalty of 15 seconds may be added to the total time for each assistance provided.
5. Participants can only enter the race course when called upon. Venturing, trying or any other forms of entry into the course is not permitted and may result in an instant disqualification of the participant.
6. Participants are expected to maintain discipline at all times in the course. Any damage to the course due to misconduct may result in the participant being disqualified from the race.
7. There will be NO refund of registration fees if the participant(s) is disqualified from the competition.


1. Upon the signal of the official, participants would need to press the timer start button to start the timer and proceed with the race.
2. Officials will call the participants back to the start line to restart the race if the Timer Wall does not start.
3. The official time of the participant will be deemed as the time shown on the Timer Wall.
4. Participants would need to ensure that proper contact is made with the stop button to stop the timer.
5. Officials may render assistance to the participants if a mechanical failure happens by pressing the stop button on the participant’s behalf. This is done based on the discretion of the officials on site.
6. In the event that the timer wall fails, the time from the Time Official will be deemed as the clocked time.
7. If the difference between the time registered by the Timer Wall and the Time Official is different, the lower of the 2 times will be used as the final clocked time.


1. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by The Organiser to ensure the safety of participants, participants run at their own risk and The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, death and/or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.
2. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/ or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.
3. The parent or guardian of each participant is responsible for the child’s safety on the race day. It will be determined by each parent or guardian if their child is medically fit to run, ensure that the child can attend the event and will also be present to supervise the child.
4. A participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official.
